Through the Years – Peggy Schrage
September 28 – November 3
Schrage Gallery
I was exposed to much art and culture at a very young age and became smitten. Working with my beloved grandfather in his darkroom, developing black and white photographs of Kentucky, gave me great pride and pleasure. A favorite aunt, also named Peggy, would whisk me around New York City, as a young girl, and just open my eyes to such beauty as art and fashion.
When I moved to Marblehead in my 30’s, I very much embraced the community’s vigorous support for the arts. The Little Theatre, the Festival of Arts and Marblehead Arts Association became centers of my artistic participation and financial support. For most of my adult life I also became enthralled with taking classes and workshops, providing much stimulation and fulfillment. Please enjoy the visual cacophony of this exhibit and understand the sheer joy experienced by me the casual artist.
This exhibit is made possible through the generosity of Peggy Schrage and visitors like you. Donations gratefully accepted.
