Introducing Our New President … Amy Goldfarb

I’d like to thank the community for supporting me as the new President of the Board at the Marblehead Arts Association (MAA), which was officially announced on Wednesday June 17th at the Annual Meeting in the garden of the historic King Hooper Mansion.

For those who I have not yet met, I’ve lived in Marblehead for 30 years and care deeply about the town and its art community. I’m an artist myself and feel well prepared for this leadership position, having completed two master’s degrees, enjoyed previous careers in healthcare and corporate finance, and owned two small art businesses.

In 2018, I participated in my first holiday market at the MAA and became a member of the Association. In the years that followed, I worked in the MAA Artisan Shop where I learned about the business side of the organization, assisting the Executive Director with ongoing projects pertaining to membership, programs, events and rentals…
