Pressing Matters – Little Harbor Printmakers

Schrage Gallery Our group of working MAA artists met throughout the Fall of 2023 and the Spring of 2024, exploring different methods of printmaking, including Trace monotypes, Addition/Subtraction methods, Drypoint, Linoleum Relief, Collagraph, Viscosity, and Mixed media printmaking. The goal was to create an ongoing printmaking collaborative that would extend the repertoires of MAA artists into the realm of printmaking. Led by local printmaker, Amy Hourihan, the show includes examples of each method by different artists, in order to show the breadth and depth of the classes. The results are an impressive array of styles, approaches, and techniques.
