Eugene Pintail
Born in Odesa, Ukraine, in 1985, he was raised with the paradigm that art is more than decoration of space—it is something that speaks from within us, with us, and through us. He studied at the Grekov Art School, School 57 Design and Architecture Class, and the Odesa State Academy of Construction and Architecture. With more than 20 years of international experience as an interior designer, Eugene often integrated sculpture into his projects, blending art and environment.
Following the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he and his family fled to Switzerland, where sculpture became both remedy and anchor. After relocating to the United States, he reinvented himself once more, shifting fully into art. His practice is deeply informed by personal experience—journeys through trauma, healing, and revival—and by a restless curiosity that drives the ongoing transformation of his views on life.
His work has been featured in ArtCollide’s 2025 Dreamscapes exhibition, Teravarna’s 12th Open International Art Competition, and at Burning Man 2024. Today, Eugene continues to develop a body of work that is both deeply personal and universally human, weaving themes of healing, transformation, and interconnectedness into sculptural forms that stand between art, philosophy, and storytelling.
