Deborah Baye
Deborah is a life long New Englander. Growing up in Boston and then Framingham. She studied at Boston University and practiced as an Occupational Therapist for most of her working life. Deborah recently relocated to the North Shore of Massachusetts with her family.
Her pursuit in art goes back to her high school days when she was fortunate to experience multiple art mediums, including jewelry, pottery, and photography.
She takes inspiration from the repetition of patterns seen in nature and science and the work of other visual artists.
Her work represents the reflection of internal energy flowing freely. Initially pieces are not planned in detail, except for the shape, size and overarching color scheme. Color and texture are added over time to create more complex layered images resulting in spontaneous repetitions.
Deborah’s work hangs in galleries, private homes, companies, restaurants and offices both domestically and internationally.
