Dawn Jenkins
Dawn Jenkins lives in the Diamond District of Lynn, near Kings Beach. Since 2010, while on her daily beach walks with her dog Stella, she collected wood that appeared to be in the shape of fish, swimming left. For a long time, she pondered how she could give the fishlike wood personality and a unique whimsical design. In 2017 she found a friend rummaging through a box filled with jewelry, buttons, and beads, it was at that exact moment that “Bedazzled Fish” was born.
Dawn currently sells her work in local galleries and gift shops and is an artist member of the Marblehead Arts Association (MAA), the Galleries at Lynn Arts (GALA) and the Salem Arts Association (SAA).
