Bob Schaeffner

For over 40 years I have worked as an Architect and Principal at Payette in Boston which has been remarkably rewarding. In May 2023 I began learning paint in Watercolor as a hobby. Painting has captivated me, and I am dedicating more time to it as I near the end of my career in Architecture. Drawing has always been an important part of my life and has proven to be a solid foundation for my painting. I seek to become more painterly and less detailed as I progress, which is best accomplished by painting from life, primarily plein-air.
