Alessandra Donovan

A nationally recognized artist, Alessandra is a member of many respected art associations, including the Marblehead Arts Association. Her work can be seen across the country in galleries, art festivals, national juried shows and online juried competitions.

Alessandra’s photography is eclectic and ranges from nature and landscapes to minimalism and happenstantial images.

Alessandra was born and raised in Turin, Italy. She lived in Maine, Washington, DC, NYC, L.A., Sydney, Australia, and now resides in Massachusetts. Journalist, TV and radio producer, radio program host for Italian audiences in NYC and Sydney, manager of international sales of films and TV programs, she is currently a practicing attorney and photographer.

While in NYC, Alessandra studied painting at the School of Visual Arts and drawing at the Art Students League; later she pursued photography with photographer Ed Pepper in L.A. She continued studying oil painting and working on her photography when living and travelling through Australia.
