Alternative Ways to Create an Inventory Spreadsheet

  • If you do not have a spreadsheet app on your device AND you have a gmail / google account, you can use “Google Sheets”. Download and save the spreadsheet to your device.
  • Open “Sheets” from your google account.
  • Select “File>Open>”, then “Upload” and select the saved file.
  • Choose “Open With” google sheets the top the Inventory Spreadsheet screen.
  • Once you have completed the spreadsheet, select FILE > Download > Microsoft Excel (.xlsx).
  • Rename the file to include your first and last name (add “YOURNAME” and “DATE”).
  • Print the file to bring to drop off (FILE > Print).
  • Email the file to [email protected].

Using Mobile Phones or Tablets

  • Microsoft Office offers Excel apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
  • Follow “Excel” instructions above
  • Print the file to bring with you
  • Email the file to [email protected].

If All Else Fails

  • If you are unable to provide a spreadsheet, print a blank form, fill it out by hand, and a staff member will help you create the spreadsheet at the MAA.
  • Tech help is also available at many public libraries, including the Marblehead Public Library.
