Why I do this?
I strive to capture and share a vision of our world, an image of a point in time, an image that describes the reality of that exact moment, a moment that most likely will not occur again. Every day is different and presents new and fresh opportunities to record an event whether it is a calm reflection on glassy calm water or an explosion of color produced as the morning sun rises and sets each day.

With camera in hand, I feel more connected to our world. My camera enables me to truly see what lies beyond the lens allowing me to record the scene as it is and share it.

My passion for photography developed during my career at the Polaroid Corporation, where I spent nearly 40 years as a photographic scientist, engineer and technology leader. Over the years I have moved from film based media to digital. I have a deep love for travelling our world and photographing all that is there. When not photographing, Skip is a sport fishing charter captain, sailing instructor and outdoor writer. Skip is a graduate of Northeastern University, Engineering and Science and a US Navy Submarine Veteran.
