The deadline for online submission is Monday, September 22nd, 11:00 PM.
To ensure clarity and consistency, please review the following guidelines before submitting:
Eligibility: This category is open to artists working in digital illustration, photo manipulation, digital painting, 2D animation, motion graphics, short-form video, and similar formats. Traditional artwork photographed digitally does not qualify.
Format & File Requirements:
- 2D Digital Work: Submit as high-resolution JPEG or PNG files (minimum 300 DPI).
- Animation/Video: Submit as MP4 (1080p recommended). Maximum runtime: 5 minutes.
- Include a brief artist statement (150–250 words) describing your work, process, and tools used.
Presentation: Selected works may be displayed on screens or projected. If physical presentation is preferred (e.g., framed prints of digital works), artists must provide ready-to-hang pieces.
Originality: All work must be original and created by the submitting artist. AI-generated artwork will not be accepted unless used as a tool within a clearly described creative process.
Review Panel: Submissions will be reviewed by artists and curators with experience in digital media and animation to ensure thoughtful and informed selection.
