Life Drawing Class and Model Stand

Continues through the summer unless attendance drops off and you will be notified of that date. No Class on July 1st. Please contact Marjorie Detkin, mdetkin at comcast.net if you are interested in attending.

The Tuesday Life Drawing group is looking for some type of stand that could be used to help our models hold their positions longer. It doesn’t seem to exist “off the rack,” so we’re willing to pay someone to build it for us.

We envision a stand with lightweight (pvc?) flexible tubing that could be height adjusted. It would have a cupped area at the top, which could attach to the tube by using a ball socket. It would have to be able to support the weight of a model’s arm or leg. This way, a model could have his/her arm or leg outstretched and held in position.
